What is the Sustainability Navigator?

The Sustainability Navigator is an intuitive, visual and interactive tool that allows you to simplify your Sustainability journey by bringing all your carbon emissions together in a way that is easy to understand. We simplify the journey to Net Zero regardless of where you are in your journey, while providing the confidence of being professionally developed and maintained. All products includes a downloadable Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) report that meets all the regulatory requirements for submissions in the annual reports for schools that qualify or opt to volunteer . We offer 3 products

Base: Calculates and presents carbon emitters that are compliant with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) standards. Includes clickable downloadable SECR report for easy retrieval for annual reports.

Base+: Includes everything in the Base product and all student and staff travel emissions.

Bespoke: Includes everything in the Base product to all your carbon emissions to everything in between. We will give you a selection to curate your Sustainability Navigator from.

How do I know if I qualify to submit a Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) report?

The UK encourages all companies and charities to report even if it would be voluntarily. The schools that would qualify would fit under the following criteria.

  • Have 40,000 kWh of emissions in their reporting period

And or meet two out of these 3 criteria

  • turnover (or gross income) of £36 million or more,

  • balance sheet assets of £18 million or more,

  • 250 employees or more.
